Quick start

FeaturePrint Pro App, the mobile tool for FeaturePrinting and identifying items using Alitheon’s FeaturePrint® technology. This guide walks you through the steps to get started and make the most of the app.

Login:

  1. Open the FeaturePrint Pro app on your mobile device 
  2. On the login screen, enter the company code and password provided by your organization’s administrator or from Alitheon.
  3. The app will then prompt you to select the product catalog you wish to use. If only one catalog is available to you, you will automatically be taken to the next step.
  4. Choose your product. If only one product is available to you, you will automatically be taken to the main screen.

Using the app:

FeaturePrint Pro can operate in two modes: Identification Mode and FeaturePrint Mode. The mode you can access depends on your user role and the specific configuration set by your organization.

  • Identification Mode  – designed for users to identify already Featureprinted (registered) items.
  • FeaturePrint Mode  – designed for users who need to register new items and create their FeaturePrints.

      How to FeaturePrint:

  1. From main screen, ensure you are in FeaturePrint mode. If not, click the mode toggle on the top toolbar.
  2. Take a picture of your item by tapping on the icon.
  3. Type in an Item ID / other data (if applicable).
  4. Tap on the icon to finish.

      How to Identify:

  1. From the main screen, ensure you are in Identification mode. If not, click the mode toggle on the top toolbar.
  2. Take a picture of your item by tapping on the icon.
  3. Tap on the icon to proceed. The app will display the result of whether the time was positively identified or not:

Logging Out:

  1. From the main screen, click on the icon
  2. Click on the icon
  3. Click on the icon to logout
